OCTOBER 2022 at The Atrium – “Transmutations” is a collection of sculptures made of familiar found objects transformed into other-worldly artifacts. Deliberate in her personal efforts to incorporate environmental sustainability into her work, Marana has taken discarded everyday items and gave them new life as dream-like apparitions and curiosities.

APRIL 2015 at The Witt Gallery, Sacramento State – “Somnimorphs” are physical manifestations of lucid dreams. As confessions from the depths of the non-verbal subconscious, imagery and sensation are brought to surface in order to confront the raw visions we experience as we sleep.
